The Wildcats hit the road for their first meeting with the Blizzard in Baltimore last weekend.  The Cats were first on the board when forward Diane Sanders scored her first goal of the season after the Cats gained control of the Blizzard zone late in the second period.  She was assisted by forwards Heather Meyer and Michele Forte.  The Wildcats gained the man-advantage early in the second period when the Blizzard were called on a high-sticking penalty.  The Cats swarmed the offensive zone and after a clean pass from Meghan Benson, Kim Hammers hammered one passed the Blizzard goalie, making it the second goal of the night and Kim's first of the season.  With about a minute left in the period, defenseman Pat Lyons, protecting the blue line and keeping the puck in the zone, assisted on the Cats' third goal from center Meghan Benson. Benson tallied her third point of the night and her second goal, early in the third period with assists going to forward Laura Zdenahlik and Casey Arnett. The final score was 4-2, making it the Wildcat's third win of the season.

Next weekend, the Wildcats host the Washington Wolves on Saturday, November 19.  Game time is 6:50 p.m. Admission is free so come out and support your Prince William Wildcats!  LET'S GO CATS!!!
