The Wildcats took on the Reading Reign for the first time Saturday.  The Wildcats held the Reign scoreless until the final minutes of the game, after the Reign crashed the net and cashed in on a rebound shot.  Margaret Bartha was stellar in net, facing 28 shots and making a number of spectacular saves.  The Cats played an intense, physical game and had many scoring opportunities as they poured on the offense.  The Wildcats' defense was solid as they held the formidable opponent at bay for almost 3 periods.

Saturday's game was the Cats' inaugural game in the newly rebuilt Prince William Ice Center.  The team is happy to finally be back home in Prince William once again!  The Wildcats are on the road next weekend, as they travel to Frederick, MD to play the Firestorm.  LET'S GO CATS!!!
