From contributors Stacy Scott and Krista Ehlert-

Another win on Saturday night for the Wildcats against the Frederick Firestorm. The Cats came off their two week Thanksgiving break a little flat and found themselves down 2-0 with about 10 minutes left to go in the second period. Coach Jason Ehlert called a time-out and asked the team to skate like they wanted to win. The time-out seemed to wake up the team and shortly thereafter, Susie Hazard scored a nice goal on an assist by Captain Casey Ar...

The Wildcats traveled to Frederick, MD for a Sunday match-up against the Firestorm. The game quickly turned into a barn-burner as each team turned up the heat in determination to take all; however, it was the Wildcats who were victorious in the end.

After hammering each other and the goalies for a period, the score remained 0-0 at the end of the first. One minor penalty was called on Wildcats' defenseman, Margaret Moran for tripping, which was easily killed off by the Wildcats' penalty kill ...

Last Sunday, the Wildcats traveled to Skate Frederick in Maryland for their match against the Frederick Firestorm.  The Wildcats knew they would have to come out strong and take control of the game at the first face-off if they were to have a chance against the always formidable Firestorm. Wildcats 3-2 Loss

Posted by Wildcats webmaster on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, In : 2010-2011 Season

The Wildcats suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost 3-2 to the Frederick Firestorm Saturday night.  The Wildcats came out strong early, and scored the first goal of the game, after Margaret Bartha carried the puck end-to-end, and straight through the Firestorm defense.  Despite their strong start, the Cats could not maintain the intensity, and allowed three unanswered Firestorm goals.  The Wildcats managed to score another goal late in the third period, again from Margaret B...
