Wildcats at the World Police & Fire Games

Prince William Wildcats players were on deck at the Prince William Ice Center over the weekend in support of the World Police & Fire Games Over 35 and 45 Men's Hockey competition. Wildcats forward Michele Forte and goalie Anita Wray volunteered their time and efforts by registering players, managing penalty boxes and score keeping games. Men's hockey continues through Wednesday, when the divisions square off at the Championship games.

Wildcats Tour New Prince William Rink

The Wildcats were treated to a tour Saturday morning of the new Prince William Ice Center (PWICE). The rink is still under construction, so the group donned hard hats and were given an inside peak of what will become their home rink next season.  The newly erected building is probably the most wildly anticipated structure the area has seen since the original rink collapsed during the February 2010 Blizzard.  Since then, hockey players and teams have had to seek ice at other rinks in Northern ...
